These were growing almost totally underground near mixed conifers.
Caps were up to 5.2 cm across.
The stems were up to 6 X 1.1 cm and essentially solid.
Did not detect any strong odor.
The spores were ~ 8.0-9.0 X 5.4-6.1 microns and moderately rough.
KOH on the cap turned brown and a lighter grayish brown on the other surfaces.
