Fruiting in association with Kunzea ericoides
Spores Ellipsoid, fairly coarsely verrucose.
Range (6-)6.5-7.5×5µm
Average 6.8×5µm

Cheilocystidia Clavate, occasionally cylindrical, not distinct.

Alkaline reactions Very dark red, almost black in all parts of fruitbody, 3%KOH.

Hi Karl,

The pileus diameter here was up to 45mm, I have looked at the Landcareresearch page for that species and am certain you are right:)

About what size is it, Mike? It looks to me like C. leptospermarum.
