From a 5 X 7 image sent to me from AZ. Mushroom came up “…beside garage amid a sandy bunch of scrabble with no vestiges of earth…”

…has vexed me ever since the photo was sent to me. Nice, sharp photo. Have gone back and forth on it. The cap of the taller specimen seems to be too much in-tact to be a Montagnea. But seems unlikely habitat for any other Coprinus-like mushroom. Certainly looks coprinoid whatever it is. Hope someone can clue me in.
