A few very dark brown 1 1/2" shelves were found on an upringht dead tree. The upper side had a lighter, yellowish margin. The underside was very dark brown and had pored areas and other parts that were rough and probably toothed. On cross section the tube layer was 2mm thick. The flesh was brown and 5mm thick.
