in separating the two (Dixon). Under 7mm indicates torta, over versiformis. Nice obs. Damon.

Hi Damon, I collected Chlorencoelia torta last week that had smaller spore I think and a layer of sublobose cells in the outermost excipulum. Nice photo and a cool fungus! -Jason K.

this is one that can not be told apart by sight. The spores must be check because its look alike looks identical
