Observation 70871: Agaricus augustus Fr.

Collected in a habitually harvested substrate- Usually in early June we have these flush abundantly and then taper off towards September. This season, however- could overlap well into the fall months.

Temp: 68 sunny- this weekend was the first to break 80 degrees for a stretch of 301 days here in Western WA!

Fruiting beneath Douglas fir trees in decorative bark.
