is right. Very Hypholoma, these gills. The Collybia you refer to appears to have stark white gills into maturity, unlike these.

Perhaps compare to Collybia eucalyptorum.

It seems to be a good fit.

I think this just helped me solve one of my old obs. too.

looks right for Gymnopus except the gills, which look like Hypholoma.
