Assumed P.cervinus from a distance, but upon closer inspection there were differences.
Lighter coloring of cap.
Less pink in the gills.
Growing terrestrially (but probably attached to wood in dirt, as there were tons of wood chips mixed in at this location)
Some growing clustered or cestipose. (see picture of base)
Purely silvery/white stipe coloring.
Pileus approx 6" Diameter
Stipe approx 4" in length, 1/2" diameter.
