Generally, just a layer of tubelike pores wrapping around the side and bottom of a downed, fairly old cottonwood log. There were a few small outcroppings of shelflike flesh, with a green organism growing on them, as seen in the pictures. My only guess is something in the Perenniporia or Poria genera.
