Probably poor form to go around chipping off pieces of gravestones in order to identify the lichens, you think?

The black bumps could be pycnidia or perithecia or even sporodochia (whatever those are!) Could be Verrucaria, Lichenothelia, or even one of the gelatinous jobbies in the Lichinales. I’ve never managed to get to the bottom of any of these black stains, sorry.
