too much red on the stipe for B. sensibilis, IMO. Did it smell like curry? Did the stipe instantly stain blue when handled? I’ve said it before and will reiterate again: the bluing red-and-yellow boletes are the toughest ones to ID — many look-alikes + a number of undescribed species probably lurking in the woods. Just search for B. sensibilis at this website, and you will see what I mean. For the future, in addition to the pics please provide as much detail as possible — it always helps.
