Very large (8-10cm) for such young fluorescent yellow specimens. Found on a Western Hemlock stump in mixed conifer(Douglas fir and Western Hemlock) canopy. Sweet butterscotch aroma and flavor- not bitter in the slightest, indicating freshness.
Temp: 70’s, sunny-with constant precipitation form nearby Pacific ocean.
