Notes:
Growing on a stone bridge going over where water sometimes flows next to a fountain, the thallus was composed of relatively large white tiles and I was unable to produce any chemical reactions on it with both K & C.

If not a lichen, where it the world is it getting nutrition from?? Are the minute black specks tips of perithecia or something, maybe?
