Observation 7606: Marasmius Fr.

This was a very small fungi (about 10-15mm in ht) It was fleshy gilled with a glutinous cap. Only single specimen found.
No spore print. The more mature specimen has an irregular shaped cap and not sure if this is due to being attacked or is the common shape.

Recognized by sight: Looks OK for this species, but it does not have glutinous pileus – rather the pileus is velvety. The two-tone stipe, paler towards the top, is distinctive. Looks like something has eaten the pileus.
