Rosy Russula fruiting in leaf litter of mixed deciduous canopy.
Acer, Quercus and Salix trees.
Many emetic Russula were found at this park today- with bright white stems and short stature. This specimen is both larger than the emetic and has a pink stem which in my experience is indicative of Russula sanguinea.
Temp: low 80’s, sunny.
