Observation 7650: Agaricales sensu lato

When: 2008-05-31

Collection location: Natrona Co., Wyoming, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dave (vertical)

No specimen available

Notes:
Photos in bright Sunlight. It was growing in the grass in the yard. I have seen these after irrigating my pasture. I believe it may be a tricholoma possibly the same variety as observation # 7478 Only more mature.

Odor was of mealy worms in a box of oatmeal. Musty moldy.

Not readily apparent is the cloven/cleft in the cap (look just infront of the pesky fly that I caught by accident.) I suspect this could be a dealbata but not certain.
