Notes:
A 3 1/2" somewhat hoof-shaped shelf found on a dead tree. The tan upper part of the shelf has a varnished appearance, and on cross section the flesh under this area is brown. The lower part of the shelf is white and has a thick rounded margin. The flesh under this area is white. The undersurface is pored. The tube layer underlies both brown and white flesh.
