Ok, trying to get a little more serious about Ramaria observations. These are non-staining, yellow tipped, no other colors on branches (only yellow to yellow-tan), with white base. The flesh is amyloid, and strongly so. Under the scope the spores are smooth. So, this points to R. rasilispora.
6/24/2008 – Just adding a spore shot here at 1000x under oil. The spore here has a smooth surface, although there seems to be variations in the thickness of the spore walls. Not sure if that means anything.
