Collection location: South Lake Tahoe, California, USA [Click for map]

Notes:
Here is the species list from the Echo Summit foray in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This is a yearly event put on by the Fungus Fed. of Santa Cruz, and many thanks to the organizers, which put on a great weekend for all invovled. But the weekend was a bad one for mushroom hunting, it was very dry, and there were more dried out species found than fresh ones. But still almost 40 species were found fresh enough to id., although I was told on a normal year it would be over 60, and 100 on a good year.
