Who: BlueCanoe

No specimen available

Notes:
Found in mountain hemlock (Tsuga mertensiana) and Pacific silver fir (Abies amabilis) forest at 4,500-5,000 feet in elevation. Pore surface did not appear to bruise blue, although I only observed for a couple of minutes. Appears to lack reticulation.

Used references: Key Council of the PNW; B/R/B. No perfect matches but maybe an old, slug-nibbled specimen to explain lack of obvious reticulation? Size, shape, color, lack of blueing fit B. edulis.
