Observation 80508: Leucocoprinus birnbaumii (Corda) Singer

When: 2011-07-24

Collection location: Hollywood, Florida, USA [Click for map]

Who: Dani (Mya Celia)

No specimen available

Notes:
It was growing out of some red mulch underneath a small palm tree. Its texture was sort of rubbery, in that the bulb and stem could be squeezed and would give a little. The bulb is slightly pink, which you can see in one of the photos if you look closely. Found in South Florida.
