When: 2008-06-11

Collection location: Martin Dies Jr. State Park, Jasper Co., Texas, USA [Click for map]

Who: Ron Pastorino (Ronpast)

No specimen available

Couldn’t find any matches for these fairly distinctive specimens. The very copious white latex did not do any significant staining or change color. The taste was mild and the white spores were globose to subglobose and prominently warted.
The caps were dry and not zonate.
Edit 2-7-2014; Initially I had rejected L. volemus due to the pale color but var. flavus does make sense.
