I’ve found this species growing directly outside the school with everyone just walking past as they go unnoticed.
If so, we know who picked them!
They should be more than happy, seeing as how they picked at least a hundred a day or two prior to this photo.
At least they didn’t rip up all the mycelium, screwing up future photo ops for us…. Damn trippers.
You can see cut stems still standing in the the second picture. We were not the only people to happen by this fruiting. That is funny. If someone recognizes this, do not worry. We left everything in situ.
