Observation 8100: Cystolepiota Singer
When: 2008-05-15
Collection location: Swans Crossing State Forest, New South Wales, Australia [Click for map]
Who: Ian Dodd (kk) (www.kundabungkid.com) Australia (kundabungkid)
No specimen available
Notes:
This fungi had a very warty cap and was about 5mm across, The stem has some sort of white substance on it. The image has been enlarged to give a reasonable view, but was in fact a very tiny fungi. I wish I had taken a gill shot, but think that it did have fine close gills, but cant remember what colour.

This looks like a Cystolepiota but with out a good gill shot that is only a guess…
Josh , I found the reference and totally agree with you. There is only sp with the name so it doesnt give someone without an image to compare to make a decision. Bruce’s image on p59 image 71 looks like a really good match. Thanks for the help. KK
