I think it’s in X. subg. Xeromphalina

which has all the normal species… X. cornui? cauticinalis? parvibulbosa?

The gills look a little decurrent and distant for X. fulvipes (adnate to adnexed, 24-30 reaching the stem!) and the caps look really dry. I don’t know of any evidence for cryptic species near X. fulvipes.

How did you arrive at X. fulvipes for this? Can you re-upload the full size photos?
