Collection location: Norcross, Georgia, USA [Click for map]

Who: Jimmy Craine (doctorghosty)

No specimen available

lots of blue staining almost immediately upon picking, I want to say it’s psilocybe weilii but I’d like for someone else to confirm please bc I am relatively new to this and this would be my very first active find.

found growing in a drainage ditch on a flood plain behind a large office building and at the bottom of a huge hill.

smell is definitely distinctive and they’re both about 4 to 4.5 inches high, with 1.5 inch bottlecap looking caps.
