of the OMS Fall Foray show were those that caught the eyes of ID-ers and were gently escorted from whatever table they were placed on (ID tag or none) over to the ubergeek corner of the room with the crates of expensive books and mystery chemicals and razor blades and microscopes. Consequently, there’s not a great deal of info on precisely where or how most of these were growing. I mentioned to the foray leaders in an email that there was at least one specimen (observation 81621) important enough to warrant sending out a “who found this mushroom?” mass email. otherwise, only if more foray attendees make their way to MO may we get more detailed information on each specimen.

for whatever it’s worth, almost all of these are dried, in my possession, and awaiting microscopy. i leave for the lab in about 15 minutes. i should have at least a chunk of them photographed by the end of the day.
