Pileus: 1.3-3.4cm in diameter, broadly campanulate to broadly convex, buff to light yellow-brown, paler at margin, smooth, slightly viscid, context white and unchanging, inrolled when young, exceeding lamellae at all stages of development.
Lamellae: light brown to earth brown in age, close, sinuate with an unpigmented decurrent tooth, lamellulae present in two series, edges lined with fine white encrustations (cheilocystidia), ventricose, ~3mm broad at thickest portion.
Stipe: stipe 2-4.1cm in length cm in length, equal above (3-6mm), gradually enlarging toward the base (6-8mm), pearly white discolorating light brown to earth brown with age/handling, stuffed when young to hollow in age, surface dry, sparsely fibrillose, texture fibrous to twisted-fibrous, apex persistently white, dandruffy to mealy (caulocystidia).
Pileipellis: a trichodermium with some gelatinizing, consisting of long, slender, clavate hyphae. septa and clamps present.
Cystidia: cheilocystidia variously sized and shaped, all ranges of clavate, utriform and obovoid with swollen portions distributed throughout their lengths, all thin-walled and hyaline, clamps present. caulocystidia present at stipe apex, similarly shaped^. pleurocystidia not seen^^.

Spores: broadly elliptical to amygdaliform, some slighty citriniform (having a distinct nodule opposite the apiculus), inequilateral in profile, asperulate, most containing one large droplet, non-dextrinoid
