those fat stems and substantial looking veil that have me questioning the ID. The cap color is within range.
I was expecting somebody to challenge the ID, but I thought that you would recognize them. Low humidity causes the darkened colors. G. autumnalis is very abundant this time of year. I saw dozens of deadly Galerina fruitings yesterday. Most displayed the darkened colors on some specimens, but these were by far the prettiest.
But they don’t look like Galerina marginata to me.
Finding glorious little clusters like this is what makes mushroom hunting so much fun :)
