Notes:
Found in mixed woods with conifers present. Also found with two other secies of purple/pink russulas. Viscud pileus, rosy coloration on stipe, slowly staning a light yellow when bruised, no shrimp smell at first. Took them home, gills turned yellowish. Put them in the dehydrator for an hour, gills and stem(at cut) turned grayish color, slight shrimp smell was apparent.
