Not sure if this is Repandum or Umbilicatum, it was growing with Monterey Pine.
Some of these were popping in july from fog drip under the same tree.

This was about 1/2 mile away from the state beach, i left a bunch to see if they grow bigger.

I found some Hydnum at Montara State Beach under Monterrey pine which turned out to be H. repandum. http://mushroomobserver.org/64351
