Too bad you couldn’t get more of the bulb out of the ground for the last photo. I see you avoided jumping for A. cokeri. I agree. Recurved scales do not a cokeri make. The skirt looks to fragile, no thickened edge, no cortina-like fibrils joining the stem to the underside of the skirt. Can’t recall if I’ve seen this in Mexico or the SW U.S. If I saw it in either, it might be on the WAO site under “A. arizonica” or as one of the Amanita sp-Mxx “numbered” taxa.
