Texture leathery

This was more like a polypore, while my other Sistotrama collections were more fleshy.

I don’t think there will be microscopy on this. This collection is from before the point where I started carrying the microscope everywhere and scoping things from various campsites.

but these looked a bit firmer, closer to the Phellodon end of the texture spectrum than Hydnum.

fleshy or leathery, alan? got micrographs?

could this be another Sistotrema?
