Recognized by sight: Well the cap color is not streaked, but speckled, and the rings were somehwhat sticky. Also did not see any bluing of stipes.

looks like classic older materiel of Suillus caerulescens. S. ponderosus is slimy when young and has a slimy yellow veil.
