Collection location: near Diamond and Crater Lakes, Douglas and Klamath Cos., Oregon, USA [Click for map]
These seemed to match the characteristics for C. multiformis. The caps were somewhat viscid initially. One stem had a fairly abrupt bulb but the others were straighter. The caps were 4.5-10.1 cm across. There was only scant cortina on the stems. The habitat was mixed, mostly conifers.
