Observation 85262: Ramaria violaceibrunnea (Marr & D.E. Stuntz) R.H. Petersen

This specimen was collected by the class at the Mendocino foray and was identified as R. fennica, and it seems to fit well with var violaceibrunnea which was elevated to species by Petersen. Thea Chesney worked through the identification in lab, and I just now checked it under the scope.
