Notes:
Small group of pear-shaped buff-coloured puffballs growing on a rotten stump. Up to about 2 cm across and 3 cm tall, covered with tiny warts. White flesh. Lower dode of stump were some small 3-4 mm white blobs which may have been baby puffballs. Also some torn grey remains with dark-grey powder inside, which contained spores which were more or less spherical and about 3-4.5 microns in diameter.
