Dull white caps with brown are slightly purple shades. No specimens were found with open or flat caps that exposed the gills; all seemed to be near decay, as if recent rains had stopped everything. Purple /blue color was not intense in most cases. Large specimen looks moldy.

Reminded me of C. alboviolaceous…,
