if Exidia gets dry at all, the pimpled surface becomes really pronounced.
They’re not perithecia, but they sort of look like it.

But what was the texture like? This still doesn’t look like Kretzschmaria to me (which I find to be much more dull)

But it would be weird if Exidia was on a conifer I think…
