Debbie points out that I DID NOT COMMENT on this observation. Funny, I thought I had. It seemed to me that I had. I was sure that I had. I had a strong feeling of certainty bordering on the absolute. OOOOOOPS.

I think this is indeed A. banningiana. It’s classic. It’s gracile, has a relatively small sac, has no orange decoration on the stipe, has a disc that’s brown-orange or brown at first.
