Recognized by sight: Ganoderma growing on pine in Southeast US. Morphology is similar to that of G.curtisii, yet is growing on pine, this fits the description given to Ganoderma meredithiae.

According to Gilbertson, Ganoderma lucidum fruits ONLY on angiosperms (maple, oak, ect.), never on conifers. Could these conks be G. tsugae?

All of these were fruiting from pine trees.
