Recognized by sight: this is not Hygrophoropsis macrospora which sometimes also is synonymized with H. aurantiaca var. pallida. There are some nomenclatural problems here which should be solved.

Don’t mind us mourning over the mess of synonyms, most of it was originally created by european “herbarium mycologists” anyway :-)

And Hygrophoropsis pallida (Peck) Kreisel is probably not even a Hygrophoropsis.

Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca var. pallida (Cooke) Heykoop & Esteve-Rav.

Why is it impossible to post this under this name? It is clearly not the nominal form here. And this var. pallida has got nothing to do with Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca var. pallida* (Cooke) Kühner & Romagnesi which is H. macrospora.
