Observation 92319: Amanita ocreata Peck

This was an explosion of A. ocreata in a forest with six different species of oaks: live oak, interior live oak, valley oak, etc. Most all specimens had a yellowish tinge on cap.

Interesting colors. I usually see pink when the caps discolor. These are quite yellow.
