you could even see it inthe original picture, unfortunately I lost the original 14 MP in a hard drive crash :( I borrowed this one off of another mushroom page I have. It did fade back to white after a short time also. Maybe I can find some lost pics and post some others :( Feel free to offer other suggestions, it was growing in a yard, I seriously doubt it was fertilized. caps appox.6-10 cm stems approx 6-8 cm x1-1.5 cm

Yellow staining?

A. xanthodermus stains yellow like a highlighter and then fades within 30 mins, at least when fresh. Did this find do that?
