Careful, I’ve been warned that there are many lichenicoles that look like this

And I’ve been very sternly warned that you shouldn’t rely on the host id as a useful character for identifying lichenicoles. Even beyond those standard disclaimers, even I have seen look-alikes. I think I’ve posted a specimen of Lichenodiplis lecanorae which also just shows as minute black specks in the hymenia of Lecanora (and many other hosts). Good news is it isn’t as hard as it may seem to get a section of one of those dots to see what it is.
