Impressive population

I can find individual thalli if I look really carefully, but it looks like they’ve gone colonial here, almost like subdiscrepans. Simply gorgeous photos. Perfect case that demands two dimensions to vote on: aesthetics and how well it represents the species. A+ on aesthetics, but this is hardly typical of the species!
