Found in Pacific University Arboretum, growing in a mixed forest, close to a creek. Spores 17-20 × 11.5-12 microns. Paraphyses 7-8 microns at their rounded top.

you are perhaps aware that we (many professional and amateur mycologists invited from around the country) are about to initiate a North American Fungal Survey?
We are hammering out the details next month in New Haven, and will depend upon educated amateurs like yourself for a good bit of the field collections.
