Growing in lawn. Obviously starting to show some age, the gills were starting to wrinkle.


Spores, 450 magnification, under permount, no stain

Recognized by sight: 9 cm flat cap, buff coloration, free gills – gills lt grey green(old), green spore print. No ring observed on stipe. Found growing on lawn.
Based on microscopic features: spores 9-11 × 6 – 7.5μ, elliptical, almost tear shaped. needed no stain under permount, on second slide spores showed poor uptake of lacto-phenol cotton blue under wet mount.
